Trendy & Easy Hairstyles to Try for 2021

Bubble "Braids"

Bubble braids are so easy to do! This style works best with medium to long hair. All you need are tiny elastics. Start with a regular pony or pig tail at the base (you can use a regular hair tie, scrunchie, or small elastic), go down 2 inches and wrap your first bubble. Now take a few sections from that bubble and pull it to actually make it round. Depending on your hair length, repeat this one to two times. Once you have your bubbles, you can play around with their size and pull some pieces loose at the front.

Tiny Front Braids

Hello year 2000! This Y2K hairstyle is going to be alllll the rage for Spring and Summer 2021, and it's perfect for any hair length. All you have to do is form tiny braids either at the front of your face or a little in front of your ears depending on the braid size. Some people leave it untied, but I would do a small band that matches your hair color. Wear this with some fun Y2K eyeshadow colors and your favorite sage green outfit.

Claw Clips

This is the easiest hairstyle on here. All you have to do is gather your hair like you're putting it up in a ponytail and fold it against your head. Secure with the claw clip and adjust accordingly. I like to pull a few pieces forward and don't mind if the top has some bumps. I do this on the regular if I don't want creasing from a pony tail. Wear some natural eye shadow colors with this look to give it an effortless vibe.

Low, Slick Bun

Simple and chic, this can elevate any outfit! Gather your hair at the nape of your neck. I like to brush the crown of my head then add some styling gel to keep the flyaways down. If you have curtain bangs like me, you can either gel or bobby pin them down as well. Sometimes I let them loose for a more casual version. This look is gorgeous with a strong make up look since your face is completely on display.

Ponytail Braid

This is a badass and easy look for bad hair days. Tie your hair in a high pony right at the crown. Simply braid and tie off the braid with a matching or invisible elastic. I love this look if you want your hair off your face, but still want to look put together.

Butterfly Clips

This style feels reminiscent to my childhood. This girly hair style can be worn a number of ways, all you need are butterfly clips! This is perfect for any length of hair, and I think a natural make up look would make it all look fresh and girly.
