Monochrome is a trend that I love but thought I couldn't pull it off.
I tried it out after seeing one of my best friends pull it off, and I have to say I don't hate it. For those of you who don't know what monochrome is, it is the process of pairing pieces together that are from the same color family. It's kind of like an aesthetic for clothing.
For those starting out, doing an all white or all black outfit is an easy an safe way to do monochrome, and it can be played around with by adding different statement pieces like a cool purse or simple earrings. For my graduation, I loved the idea of wearing a white dress for my pictures. So, I decided to do a white dress with some tassel earrings I bought for my sorority formal and white heels I bought from ASOS.
Here is the look that inspired me from my girl Lexi! I love how she paired cream colors together. The pop of blue makes it feel chic and with a little nautical influence, which is starting to trend right now. It's the perfect brunch outfit.
