Belt Bag or Fanny Pack?

Daytime NYE Outfit

Happy New Year! I spent NYE the right way (by eating, duh). My boyfriend and I decided to feast at a Creole restaurant in Pensacola called Cafe Nola. We probably ate our body weight in gumbo and po'boys and that's not an exaggeration ;).

NYE also consisted of going to Downtown Pensacola where we rang in 2019. We had a great night, but I came to the realization that belt bags are an ideal piece for going out and travelling.

Throughout NYE I had two outfit changes and both times I wore my new belt bag. It is so convenient not having to worry about a purse or where to put my things. All night I was able to be hands free to dance, drink, and spend time with someone I love.

Belt bags, or fanny packs, are all the rage right now. I am seriously obsessed with this DKNY one I got at TJ Maxx for only $14.99. Instead of a bulky fanny pack, I opted for a leather one that does not take away from the outfit for a sleeker look. For more of a street style look, cloth ones are great for wearing around your waist or across your chest.
